After a long and rewarding career in the NHS as a registered mental nurse, I qualified and began practising as a Sports Massage Therapist in 2019.
As a result of my work at Rampton Hospital combined with my passion for an active lifestyle, I feel I have a great combination of communication skills and experience to work with individuals from all walks of life.
I have been involved in sports and outdoor activity all of my life. Enjoying Rugby as a player and coach, and obsessed for years with rock climbing and ice climbing mainly in the Peak District but to wilder conditions such as the French Alps and Scotland ( Cairngorms in winter).
I continue to enjoy walking, mountain biking, golf and once a year pretend to be a sailor with friends for a week!
Additionally I'm a family man, married with 2 wonderful offspring, a daughter who now lives in Scotland and a son who has just completed his Degree in Marine Biology at Swansea University.
Continuing to work with people is close to my heart, I thoroughly enjoy the challenge to assess and treat a client, seeing the results through soft tissue mobilisation and exercise so as their daily lives improve.
